The most suitable route depends on the type of development, the current construction stage and the information available for review.
You may still be able to progress a retrospective PCC application. Completed and part-built developments are assessed individually, based on the evidence and documentation available.
Which type of development are you working on?
New Build Homes
PCC solutions for individual newly constructed homes, self-build properties and bespoke residential projects. Ideally arranged before construction begins so suitable reviews and inspections can be undertaken throughout the build.
Residential Developments
Support for housing developments, apartment schemes and multi-unit residential projects, with technical review and suitable inspection stages arranged as required.
Conversions & Refurbishments
PCC support for suitable residential conversions, change-of-use projects and substantial refurbishment works where existing buildings are being adapted or redeveloped.
Retrospective & Completed Projects
Already underway or complete? Eligible projects can be assessed retrospectively, subject to the availability of suitable construction evidence, documentation and inspection.
Construction already underway? That doesn't necessarily stop you.
If your development is already part-built or complete, we can review the circumstances and advise whether a retrospective PCC application may be possible.
Retrospective applications generally require additional evidence because elements of the construction may no longer be visible for inspection.
