What is a 10 Year Structural Warranty?

A 10 year Structural Warranty is an independent Certificate that certifies the structural integrity of a property to the perspective lenders.

If a newly built Or converted property is to be sold, rented or financed against within 10 years of the works being completed then a warranty certificate will be required for the lender; whether this would be to support a bank loan application, re-mortgage or sell the property the warranty will be required.

Our 10 Year Structural Warranty Certificate is recognised by UK Mortgage Lenders as detailed within the UK Finance Mortgage Lenders handbook for conveyancers.

Our certificates are valid and transferable for a period of 10 years and as there is no premium element.

Step One

.

To obtain a quotation for our 10-year Structural Warranty all YOU need to do is fill in the required details on our enquiry form and attach your building plans.

This is all the information we need to prepare the Structural Warranty Quotation. Upon receipt of the enquiry, we aim to get back to you within 48 hours with the detailed quote for your consideration.

Whilst you are completing this section you will notice we offer complimentary partner services to assist with the development. We have worked with them for a number of years, and it certainly streamline the building regulations and technical information request.

Step Two

.

Upon receipt of the enquiry, we aim to get back to you within 48 hours with the detailed quote for your consideration.

To accept our quotation(s) and proceed with the quote all we will require is a formal instruction via email.

Payments will be required in full to coverer the registration, technical fees and certification from commencement to completion.

Step Three

.

Once the project is live, one of our technical staff members will review the information on file and carry out an initial assessment of the project.  (please note further information may be requested to get this done) We aim to have the assessment completed within 10 working days of engagement.

Further supporting information may be required if we have not received the basic information for example: Architectural working drawings and specifications, phase I geotechnical report, SAP calculations, Structural Calculations …

After we have carried out the technical assessment one of our qualified warranty surveyors will be in contact with you to carry out the technical audit which covers 5 KEY staged inspections throughout the build.

After completion of the staged inspections and no defects noted, then we will look to finalise the certification. All we will require is the normal commissioning information for us to finish our work. Following receipt of the requested information and balances paid we will issue the certification within 48 hours.
